Join us in celebration of the Summer Solstice as we honor the light of the Earth and light within you. Gift yourself the opportunity to slow down, awaken to and align in this seasonal shift.
You will be guided on a gentle, mindful stroll along Lake Natoma for 2 hours as we Forest Bathe. Leave your stresses behind and connect with the abundance of the natural world. Your Forest Therapy Guide, Monica Mendoza will offer you a series of sensory-opening “invitations” designed to help you connect with the natural world in your own authentic way.

The walk concludes with a traditional tea ceremony.
Special activities include creating a group mandala, DIY smudge sticks, and a seasonal dessert.
Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku – taking in the forest atmosphere. As a growing global wellness movement, it is backed by nearly 40 years of scientific research on the holistic benefits of immersing yourself in nature. These benefits include reduced stress and blood pressure, increased creativity and focus, improved mood and sleep, and a boost to immune functions.
