About this event:
Join us for this unique experience of being guided in Forest Bathing while on your stand-up paddleboard or in your kayak. This will be a”three-hour tour” (Gilligan Island reference) and we promise you will make it back to land. You will be guided on a gentle, mindful paddle on Lake Natoma for 3 hours as we participate in Forest Bathing. Leave your stresses behind and connect with the abundance of the natural world. Your Forest Therapy Guide, Monica Mendoza will offer you a series of sensory-opening “invitations” designed to help you connect with the natural world in your own authentic way.

Extra energy will be in the air as we will paddle back just as the June Strawberry Supermoon which embodies the magic and fullness of life will be in sight.

The paddle concludes with a traditional tea ceremony.
Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku – taking in the forest atmosphere. As a growing global wellness movement, it is backed by nearly 40 years of scientific research on the holistic benefits of immersing yourself in nature. These benefits include reduced stress and blood pressure, increased creativity and focus, improved mood and sleep, and a boost to immune functions.
Upon registration, participants will receive location details.
Parking: It is $10.00 unless you have a State Park Pass.
