Join us for a this special event hosted in collaboration with Wild Roots Learning Center. Building community and connection with both our Human World and More-Than-Human World.

Miss Monica from the Early Explorer class at Wild Roots is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide. During this adult only event. she will guide us through a sensory experience. This immersion will assist us in settling into the present moment as we move through a quiet and calm, rejuvenating and healing, forest bathing walk.  A series of invitations will help you unwind and de-stress by slowing down, deepening your connection with nature and engaging all your senses. Guided Forest Bathing walks lower anxiety, blood pressure and the effects of depression, and heighten one’s creativity, sense of wellness and happiness.

Click here for additional information on what Forest Bathing is:

Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku – taking in the forest atmosphere. As a growing global wellness movement, it is backed by nearly 40 years of scientific research on the holistic benefits of immersing yourself in nature. These benefits include reduced stress and blood pressure, increased creativity and focus, improved mood and sleep, and a boost to immune functions.
